General Provisions

1. The personal data controller, in compliance with GDPR (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation"), is B-Art-Ek Sewing and Embroidery, company ID CRO 748274, based in Milford, Co. Donegal, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as the "Controller");

3. Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person.

The Source of Personal Data

1. The Controller processes personal data obtained with consent from the Customer and collected through the contract to purchase and fulfillment of the electronic order created in the e-shop Sew.It.Ireland;

2. The Controller processes only the identifying and contact details of the Customer which are necessary for the fulfillment of the contract to purchase;

3. The Controller processes personal data for shipping and accounting purposes and for the necessary communication between the contracting parties for the duration required by law. Personal data will not be made public and will not be transferred to other countries.

Purpose of Data Processing

The Controller processes personal data of the Customer for the following purposes:

1. Registration on the website https://sewitireland.ie in compliance with Chapter 4, Section 2 of the Regulation;

2. Fulfillment of the electronic order created by the Customer (name, address, e-mail, telephone number);

3. Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations arising from the contractual relationship between Customer and Controller;

4. Personal data is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract to purchase. The contract cannot be concluded without personal data.

Duration of Personal Data Storage

1. The Controller stores personal data for the period necessary for the fulfillment of rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between the Controller and the Customer and for the duration of 3 years following the conclusion of the contractual relationship;

2. The Controller must delete all personal data after the expiration of the period required for storage.

Recipients and Processors of Personal Data

Third parties processing personal data of the Customer are subcontractors of the Controller. The services of these subcontractors are essential for the successful fulfillment of the contract and processing of the electronic order.

Subcontractors of the Controller include:

• Webnode AG (e-shop system);

• Shipping company;

• Google Analytics (website analytics);

Rights of the Customer

In compliance with the Regulation, the Customer has the right to:

1. Access their personal data;

2. Rectify their personal data;

3. Erase their personal data;

4. Object to the processing of their personal data;

5. Data portability;

6. Withdraw consent to the processing of personal data in writing or by e-mail sent to: sew.it.ireland@gmail.com;

7. Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in case of suspected breach of the Regulation.

Security of Personal Data

The Controller declares to take all technical and organizational precautions necessary for the protection of personal data;

The Controller has taken technical precautions to secure data storage, including securing access to computers with passwords, using antivirus software, and performing regular maintenance.

Final Provisions

1. By placing an electronic order on the website https://sewitireland.ie, the Customer confirms being informed about all the terms and conditions of personal data protection and accepts them in full;

2. The Customer accepts these rules by ticking the checkbox in the order form;

3. The Controller may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The new, updated version must be published on the website.

These Rules come into effect on 09.05.2025.
